UNITeS Integrated Nigeria Limited is an ICT solution-based initiative that was established to promote educational development using information and Communication Technology. It was incorporated under the corporate affairs commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in July 2012.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager, ICT

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Required to be commercially experienced with a proven ability to establish and manage networks, identifying and driving new business opportunities and achieving overall sales and revenue goals of the organization.
  • The successful candidate will also ensure that the development Software projects are delivered on time and on budget through effective project management.

Job Responsibilites

  • Responsible for driving the research and deliver intelligence that will inform proposition of Software Solutions development, marketing strategies and income generation to meet the financial goals of the organization.
  • Lead and drive the growth of the Company financial position through business development activities, building strategic relationships and networks.
  • Lead the acquisition and development of Software projects from inception to completion including managing the project within budget, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration to deliver Software Solution projects optimally.
  • Develops and regularly updates a comprehensive business development plan, with targeted goals, objectives, methods, quantifiable outcomes and timelines to achieve the annual budget goals
  • Builds partnerships and strategic alliances that will extend and strengthens the organization’s brands to enhance reputation with business partners and customers
  • Provides oversight for all aspects of the organization such as: Proposal Writing, Corporate Events, Media Relations, Social Networking, Website, Newsletters and Branding
  • Develop our customer service processes to grow retention and referral
  • Building service level agreements across technical and operational departments (externally and internally)
  • Applying project management skills to ensure that the project is delivered to the clients as per the contracts and fulfilling the submitted briefs.
  • Oversee the handling of any client complaints and provide swift solutions to the queries as they arise
  • Ensure high client satisfaction levels through continuous formal and informal evaluation, through the annual Customer Satisfaction Survey and also from immediate ad hoc feedback.
  • Ensure that detailed records of meetings and presentations are maintained for every client session.
  • Initiate relevant mass media publicity to enhance the awareness of the solutions among the target customers
  • Ensure accurate and updated contact database of all direct/indirect Clients appropriately
  • Inspires and sets leadership direction to ensure buy-in within the team, fosters team spirit and efficiency, is adaptive and flexible to the styles of different team members.
  • Develops the skills and performance of others to improve team efficiency and help others develop their capabilities, delegates appropriately to improve capacity and reach strategic goals of the organization
  • Participate as a member of the Management Team for strategic decisions
  • Generate detailed monthly/quarterly/annually report for Management decisions.


  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 7 – 10 years work experience.

Required Skills:

  • Significant experience in business development and project management
  • High-level finance and business analysis skills
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills (including reports, briefing papers, business plans and presentations)
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality.

N400,000 – N500,000 / month.
